The History Of WISHES.
The back story of how it all started. By Adrian Murphy.
There are places in the world, hidden out of sight, where magical things keep balance in the world. These places are said to be located in areas that are less populated by earthly creatures. An example would be to imagine a small void within the large expanse that is Antarctica. A hostile environment where the ‘natural energies’ would challenge most of the earth’s creatures to forge out a place to live. But for some, it could be the perfect location to harness the world’s natural energy flow and retreat from the hunt of others.
The things that live in these hidden places are strange magical things. There is no physical evidence that proves they exist. Only through folklore, are they spoken of. Described as floating, translucent, pulsating, orbes, or things of that nature. (With the benefit of hindsight we will call them WISHES. Or to extend that further for a proper explanation – W.I.S.H.E.S (world integrating synapse harnessing energy streams).

It was the development and use of Manufactured Energy (M.E.) that forced a change in the behavior of our WISHES. Once they enjoyed the freedom of just being. Flowing through and around the world to bring balance. As they are the caretakers of the earth, they use their power to harness natural energies and maintain a healthy ecosystem. A simple example of this would be them generating a storm, and bringing rain to arid lands in need. With this type of power, they’re also subject to the natural order and need their offset. This came in the way of a flaw – WISHES react to Manufactured Energy (M.E.). Becoming brighter when near M.E., which makes them visible to a wider spectrum of earth creatures.
It took a very long time, but the earth creatures developed an understanding of these ‘hard to see’ and ‘harder to catch’ shape-shifting things. When there was an abundance of WISHES, the earth creatures would use them for their advantage. They would only have to visualize in their mind’s eye what they required or desired, at the same moment they touched a WISH. This action triggers the flow of energy and depending on the action potential and time, the WISH would become a reality.
The constant flow and demand for excess started to take a toll on the earth’s order. With the increasing use of fire (M.E.) by some earth creatures, WISHES were more easily seen and used. This was the period when WISHES knew they had to adapt and become wary of their surroundings. Being sensitive to energy flow, we also know that our WISHES are also emotionally sensitive and have complex personality traits. To articulate the individual traits of WISHES would be impossible, we just know and accept that there are many.
WISHES tried many ways and locations to remove themselves from the gaze of all of earth’s creatures. Especially with the ever-increasing use of M.E., all while still maintaining the role as the caretakers of the earth. This has proven to be their greatest challenge, but they have been very successful in doing it. So if you ever see one, I hope you have a vivid imagination. It could be the key to your success.
